AI Is Coming for Your Business Model.
Spending more on technology isn't the answer. Leadership, culture, and change capability are.

Most AI consultants focus on the technology. But technology isn't why adoption fails.

It fails at the intersection of leadership, culture, and change capability the human infrastructure that determines whether AI investments create value or drain it.

That's where I work.

Monthly Executive AI Briefings

AI moves faster than your leadership team can track. By the time you have read the latest report, it’s already obsolete.

Each month, I deliver a board-ready briefing what actually changed in AI, what it means for your business, and what decisions to make now. Not hype. Not a research dump. A strategic filter from someone who reads 200+ sources so your team doesn’t have to.

Fractional CAIO

High-level AI expertise pays for itself, but for mid-sized firms, a full-time hire is overkill. The costs are extreme, the search takes months, and the risk of a bad hire is unacceptable.

Many firms rely on the CTO, thus adding to their plate. That is generally a big mistake, because AI (while a technology) is not a technological problem.

Firms need "full-stack" expertise, the macro, strategic, operational, human capital, and ethics layers.

With more than three decades at the forefront of consulting on the human-technology interface, including years as a strategy consultant, I provide that full-stack at a fraction of the cost and risk.

Recent research from Wharton and BCG on knowledge workers found task completion was 18% faster, and quality a whopping 43% higher. But these gains were only realized by consultants trained on skillful LLM use. A WSJ article underlined this: 20 percent of senior leaders save more than 12 hours per week.

My client, using NotebookLLM and agentic document search, analysed an acquisition and created a feasibility study and integration plan on a plane ride. A small consulting firm then "kicked the tires" for $100,000.

The problem for most executives is that they are far too busy to invest time in upskilling themselves. Coaching speeds their learning, and gains are almost instant for many.

Executive AI-driven productivity

While enterprise-wide gains require complex redesigns, executive productivity can be unleashed in just 3-6 weeks. We achieve this through 'powertools' and targeted executive workflow automation.

Adaptive Adoption Sprints

In the past, transformations failed due to a lack of change management. Today, AI adoption is failing because of it. Traditional methods are too slow for the speed of AI.

Adaptive adoption versus change management for AI 01-RGB_edited.jpg

Change management, based on methods from the early 1990s and before, is predicated on dozens of faulty assumptions about how people and businesses change. It additionally relies on leaders knowing what must change, how to change it, and how long it should take. They know none of those things when it comes to agentic deployment.

Adaptive Adoption ™ uses 21-st century behavioral science, design thinking, agile development, and immersive learning experiences in sprints designed to capture value during the first week. This both avoids the productivity J-curve that often accompanies organizational change while building capability, not renting it (as happens with external Forward Deployed Engineers.)

Over thirty years, I've written eight books on culture and change, one of which was the first to show how to use behavioral science to "nudge" people into new habits, and has been ranked one of the top-five change management books of all time. At both IBM and Deloitte, part of my role was bringing such behavioral expertise inside those firms change management practices.
